Camila Costa holds two academic degrees awarded by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto: a BSc in Biology (2018) and an MSc in Forensic Genetics (2020). Currently, she is a second-year Ph.D. student at Population Genetics & Evolution Group IPATIMUP/i3S, through the Doctoral Program in Biology (Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto), under the supervision of Nádia Pinto, Ph.D., and co-supervision of Lourdes Prieto, Ph.D.. Her research is mainly focused on statistical models and informatics tools that allow the quantification of the evidence given by forensic DNA mixture samples. |
