Bárbara holds a MSc degree in  Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (completed in September 2020). In the same year, she has joined the Cancer Drug Resistance Group of IPATIMUP/i3S as a visiting researcher (research trainee) and later as a Scientific Research Fellow working on the project "Biomarkers for minimal residual disease".
