Mafalda Pinto is a researcher at the “Cancer Signaling & Metabolism” group at IPATIMUP/I3S. Mafalda's research focuses on thyroid cancer molecular alterations, with focus on thyroid indeterminate nodules and micro carcinomas, although she has been involved in different projects. Mafalda has published several peer-reviewed papers with over 500 citations. Besides her research, Mafalda supervises undergraduate and graduate students and has been involved in teaching, both at the University as well as in PhD programs. Mafalda is a member of an editorial board and has an h-index of 15.
