I graduated in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra. In 2019, I finished my Master degree in Biomedical Research at the Faculty of Medicine of University of Coimbra with specialization in oncobiology. I develop my master thesis in the Genetic Dynamics of Cancer Cells group at i3S focused on the role of pancreatic cancer mestastis-derived exosomes in the metastasis establishment and colonization at secondary organs. Currently, I am working on my PhD project focuses on the relationship between immunotherapy and the gut microbiome in colorectal cancer background.
