Short CV

Liliana Sousa, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral researcher at i3S, specializing in fostering research engagement within the healthcare sector. With a strong background in health sciences and business administration, she actively supports and manages multidisciplinary projects, particularly in health management, pathways of care, and cost-efficiency studies. Currently, Liliana is part of the coordination team of the European project PREVENTABLE. She plays a key role in project management, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of research findings into healthcare practices. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Minho – School of Economics and Management, where she investigated the involvement of healthcare professionals in research. Additionally, she has a Master’s degree in Management of Health Units (2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Analysis and Public Health (2014).  With a strong academic and professional background, Liliana has collaborated with numerous researchers and co-authoring scientific works. She is actively involved in organizing events, managing research initiatives, and bridging the gap between business administration and healthcare innovation.
