My primary focus is Cancer Research and I have a special interest in Immuno-Oncology. Currently a PhD student (Biomedicine, FMUP) at Intercellular Communication and Cancer group under the supervision of Nuno Rodrigues dos Santos.

I developed my master´s thesis in the Unit for Multidisciplinary Research in Biomedicine (UMIB - ICBAS-UP - CHP) under the supervision of Prof. António Araújo, focusing on the use of lymphoblastoid cell lines from lung cancer patients to study the importance of markers of inflammation and metastasis. I also had the opportunity to work as an Intern in the Cytogenetics Laboratory of the Genetic Services of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro Hospital (CHTMAD).
