Short CV

I'm a trained Bioengineer with a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Pathology where I have identified key biological targets responsible for multidrug resistance in cancer. My scientific journey continued as a Senior Research Scientist at the National University of Singapore, where I led a drug discovery program targeting neurotrophin receptors. With 14 years of international research experience in Life Sciences, I have worked with leading research teams across Europe and Asia, contributing to advancements in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. After six years of postdoctoral experience as a team leader in Asia, I returned to i3S to embrace a new challenge.
